Carlo Corazza has been working as Payment Systems Expert at the Payment Systems Development Group of the World Bank since January 2007. In his position he has undertaken several missions of assessment of the market for payments and remittances in both sending and receiving countries. He is actively involved in the coordination of the activities of the WB Global Remittances Working Group and represents his unit during seminars and conferences worldwide. Mr. Corazza duties include the coordination and implementation of specific technical assistance projects in the area of remittances and retail payment systems.

Leon Isaacs is a Chief Executive of Developing Markets Associates (DMA); a firm that specialises in consultancy services in and around the international remittance market. Leon is acknowledged as one of the world’s leading private sector experts on remittances. Aside from his role at DMA, Leon is also Managing Director of the International Association of Money Transfer Networks (IAMTN). Leon’s role includes liaising with international regulators, technology companies, consumers and all stakeholders who have an interest in the remittance market. Leon is also a member of the Steering Group of the UK Remittances Task Force and sits on the Consultative Committee of the World Bank G8 Public Private Partnership on remittances.

Leila Rispens-Noel works as Remittances Programme Manager at International Alternative Financial Institutions (INAFI International) effective March 1, 2009. INAFI is a network of more than 300 microfinance institutions located in Latin America, Asia, and Africa. She manages the three-year project titled “Harnessing the Potentials of Migration for Development by Linking Microfinance Institutions and Immigrant Associations”. This EU-funded project isimplemented in 10 countries in sub-Saharan Africa and 10 European countries.

Manuel Orozco is director of remittances and development at the Inter-American Dialogue conducting policy analysis and advocacy on issues relating to global flows of remittances. He also heads the Central America program. In 2004 and 2005 he directed a program funded by the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank and International Fund for Agricultural Development of the United Nations to leverage remittance transfers.

Donald F. Terry is currently professor at the Boston University School of Law and consultant to the World Bank and other international organizations on remittances, microfinance, and other development finance issues.
From 1993 to 2008, Mr Terry was General Manager of the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank. Prior to this, he was Director of various U.S. Congressional Committees, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury (1992-1993).
